Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is a modern physiotherapy method that applies gentle, controlled electrical currents to nerves, muscles and soft tissue to reduce pain, support muscle activation and aid tissue healing. It works with the body's own nerve pathways, helping to dampen pain signals and to re-engage muscles that have become weak or inactive. It suits people living with pain, muscle weakness, restricted movement or loss of function, and is almost always planned as a supportive part of a wider rehabilitation programme rather than a treatment on its own.
